A rare MJ sighting. Or, well, the even rarer, 2 MJ sightings at the same time. While the father-son duo are usually seen in different social circles these days, Super Bowl weekend brought the family back together. Using his Instagram story, Marcus Jordan would share a selfie alongside his dad, Michael Jordan.
Alongside the picture, Marcus would post a caption of “MJ^2”. Further, he had Drake’s iconic First Person Shooter as the story’s caption as the duo caught some of the action from the Big Game together. Despite the game being the talk of the town, their image together was instantly heart-melting. Given the rumors swirling for months, it was a heartwarming deviation from the norm and a welcome sight for fans of the NBA legend.

With the entire family watching, it promises to be an eventful evening. But, the real question now remains, who are they supporting? Earlier in the night, Marcus Jordan would post another picture on his IG, asking his 163,000+ followers who they were supporting in the game.
With Andy Reid in the frame, it could have been a signal from Marcus about who the house was supporting, or just a plain coincidence. Given Michael’s pre-existing connection to Tom Brady, could it cause love for the San Francisco 49ers? With Patrick Mahomes already garnering some GOAT steam, it might seem like a mimic of Jordan’s race against LeBron James. Or, could trademark pettiness win?

Or, would a perch atop the sports pyramid all by his lonesome sway MJ’s fandom? With an overtime extravagance underway, it might be one where his allegiances change from moment to moment. But, with a Michael Jordan-esque performance, complete with a game-winning drive in regulation and overtime, Mahomes has come through for his team.
