The Colorado rivalry is only heating up. Coach Prime has made it evident that he is willing to go to any extent to get the best of his opponents. Someone who has supported him throughout is none other than Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal. The rivalry between the two Colorado units is not just on the field, as both the coaches were taking jabs at each other during press conferences. Started by the Colorado State Rams head coach, Sanders continued it by hinting at a troll after the game.

However, after some backlash, the 2x Super Bowl champion came clean on his intentions, which Big Diesel seems to agree with. Let’s take a deeper look.

Before the game, Sanders hinted at trolling Jay Norvell[Rams head coach] with a handshake by removing his hat and coolers off in an interview. While the 56-year-old made it clear his motive was to take a jab at Norvell, he decided to share his true intention with a huge note on Instagram today.

Watch this story: “Why is Stephen Curry called ‘The Chef’?”

Coach Prime shared, “I don’t know him[Norvell], but I’m happy for him. I wish the best for him. I really do.” In addition, he shared in the captions, “You will never hear me speak negatively regarding another man or woman. I never spoke negative regarding my opponent… I trust God for my elevation.”

Deion Sanders was “raised right”

The 2x Super Bowl champion brought his mother before the game to cheer up his men amid a massive crowd which also involved Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson. While hyping the Buffaloes up, Connie Knight[Sanders’s mother] mentioned, “I raised him right! I also told him to always be yourself.”

She ended with, “If you have to kick a**, kick a**”. Well, Sanders just made those words true with his Instagram post. The Buffaloes have 10 more games left as they have started the season on the right note. Last year was a nightmare for the unit and Sanders has already changed the momentum early this season.
