Deion Sanders has brought revelation to the Colorado Buffaloes team. He has taken his years of experience from the NFL to the collegiate level and is currently the head coach of the Buffs. He has had a similar playing career as the great Michael Jordan. They both tried their hands in baseball even though their primary sport was something else. It’s safe to say that Sanders had a better baseball career than His Airness, but a former NFL quarterback thinks that Sanders is similar to Jordan in other areas.
Former Dallas Cowboys QB Quincy Carter recently joined Brandon Robinson on the Scoop B Radio podcast to talk about his time in the league. Having played for the Cowboys just like Sanders, during their conversation, Carter gave huge praise for Deion Sanders.

Comparing Deion Sanders to Michael Jordan
According to Carter, when he met Sanders in the NFL, he was not very vocal; yet, he knew Sanders had a lot of wisdom. He was extremely laid back and a very spiritual human being.

During the conversation, Robinson asked Carter if he could compare Sanders’s impact on college football to any player in basketball. Carter quickly said that the only comparison is Michael Jordan. This was regarding all the success that Sanders has had on and off the field.
Carter said, “From the standpoint of greatness on the field to a whole new dimension of advertising yourself and getting all you can you know off the field as far as commercials, shoes and anything you can think of as far as somebody maximizing their potential.”

Sanders has been doing great so far with the Colorado Buffaloes. The team got off to a hot start but has slowed down in the last three weeks, but it’s expected that they will make the best of their upcoming games. Sanders is preparing the players well and is instilling confidence in all of them.

Deion Sanders has done well for himself
After his retirement from the NFL, Sanders went on to become an analyst for the NFL, and years later he became a head coach at the collegiate level. While Jordan has his iconic Space Jam movie, Sanders has his own reality TV show called Deion’s Family Playbook.
He also has his own signature shoe line with Nike. Sanders is currently estimated to have a net worth of $45 million. Although Jordan is worth over 3 billion dollars, it’s safe to say that Sanders has done great for himself with all the advertising and endorsements he has had. Even though their net worths are not comparable, Sanders has maximized the potential that he had as an individual following his professional career.
