It’s safe to say that some football fans are rooting for Deion Sanders rather than the Colorado Buffaloes. This NCAA season has all eyes watching the 2-time NFL champion. Taking the avatar of ‘Coach Prime’, Sanders has increased his fanbase with a three-game win streak. As the Buffaloes stand at the top alongside South Carolina, fans continue to root for the Colorado unit’s upcoming game against Oregon. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal seems to be one of them. While some fans are looking only toward tomorrow’s game, O’Neal has his eyes set to the future.
The 4x NBA Champion furthered his support of Coach Prime in a conversation with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. Let’s see what Shaq has predicted, and why.

Shaquille O’Neal continues unconditionally supporting Deion Sanders
Sanders has outdone himself so far. Though it has been just 3 games, the 56-year-old has already shifted the momentum by a large scale, when compared to the Buffaloes’ run last year. Last year, the Boulder-based team won only 1 game throughout the season. So far this year, Coach Prime’s team is 3-0.
However, Deion Sanders believes that they “have done nothing” yet. This is the attitude that Shaq loves the most.

Speaking of Prime Time, the 51-year-old O’Neal shared, “I like what he[Sanders] is doing…He’s in the locker room speaking, kids listen to a living legend. They understand his resume. They know he is not playing here. His old school approach.”
Showcasing the situation from the last game, Shaq said he did not see any “panic” in Sanders’s face, though the Buffaloes were down by a massive 15 points. The Los Angeles Lakers legend said, “When the general doesn’t panic, the troops don’t panic.”

Finally, the Big Aristotle dropped his prediction, “Deion is going to win the next two games in a row.” Well, that’s some immense trust.
Shaq previously humbled Stephen A. Smith for underestimating the Dallas Cowboys. Perhaps it’s anything Deion Sanders-related that one shouldn’t mess with the Big Diesel about.

Shaq compared Sanders to a 13x NBA Champion
Three games in, Shaq has already put Sanders in the same conversation as his former coach, Phil Jackson.
The former coach of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant is considered one of the best in NBA history. Jackson has won 11 rings as a coach and 2 as a player. One thing that Shaq finds common between the two legends is “calmness”, which he thinks is a deadly weapon.
The Buffaloes face the Oregon Ducks tomorrow. Shaquille O’Neal has them pegged to win. And on September 30th, when the Sanders squad faces the USC Trojans, the Big Diesel believes the Buffs will emerge with a 5-0 record.
