The New York Giants legend, Michael Strahan, recently made his return to Good Morning America after taking some time off according to The U.S Sun. While the show members were excited to have him back, GMA recently shared a hilarious video of their funniest moments from 2023, which also included Strahan and a Freudian slip featuring Michael Jordan himself.
While introducing Strahan during an episode, Robin Roberts, his co-host, mistakenly referred to Michael Strahan as Michael Jordan. After hearing this, Strahan just said, “Hey, the GOAT,” as he lifted his hand while happily accepting who he was mistaken for.
With this, the NFL legend has acknowledged that Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever, at least according to him. Although Strahan does not have the same amount of accolades as the Chicago Bulls legend, he is still a Hall of Famer in his own sport.

Michael Strahan played 15 seasons for the New York Giants and even won the Super Bowl back in 2007 in his final season on the team. He only played for one team in his entire career. But he was not able to do what Michael Jordan did.

Although his career pales in comparison to that of Michael Jordan, Strahan did everything he could while being a defensive end for his team. Strahan made seven Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams during his time with the Giants. He even won the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2001 while leading the Giants to the Super Bowl match the same year, but came up short in the end. Of course, Jordan has never lost in the finals.
While Strahan was more defensively oriented, Jordan was exceptional at both ends of the game, making him one of two players in NBA history to win the scoring title along with the Defensive Player of the Year award in their career.
