NBA legend Isiah Thomas has made his stance clear. He has said it before, and he said it again. The champ demanded a public apology from his former rival Michael Jordan. Certainly, he is still not over the derogatory remark that the Bulls legend passed on him at the popular Netflix docuseries, ‘The Last Dance‘. However, even after all these years, Jordan has yet to make a public statement. Recently, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith shared his take on the matter and dragged in MJ’s former teammate Dennis Rodman as well.
In doing so, Smith shed the spotlight on the bigger picture that could be contributing to the matter. In his show, the analyst claimed that the reason behind Jordan’s silence on Thomas’ claims is simply because he “doesn’t care.” The champ has been highly successful during his playing days in the 90s. However, before that, he had to face the Detroit Pistons‘ defense prowess which was specifically designed to stop Jordan. Yes, right, the infamous Jordan rule. As Smith described, the 6x champion isn’t fond of former Pistons star Thomas or even his former teammate Dennis Rodman. The Worm, with whom he played three seasons, helped lead the Bulls towards victory.
“Jordan has never nor will ever get over it some of the stuff that transpired in his mind. He tolerated Rodman because he needed Rodman to ultimately help him win a three peat the second go round in Chicago in the late 90s but Jordan is just not that fond of Isaiah Thomas,” said Jordan.

As mentioned before, this isn’t a new incident. The spotlight was just turned back on the issue after Thomas reiterated his demands during his appearance on the Draymond Green Show podcast.

Isiah Thomas is still upset over Michael Jordan’s remark
During the conversation, Green asked the 12x NBA All-Star about his relationship with MJ. This little issue isn’t surprising to NBA fans and experts, while the Warriors player asked if anything could be done on this matter or if their relationship is redeemable. Without any hesitations, Thomas responded that it was not.
“This dude got on national television, international television and call me an a*shole. Somebody who’s been really good to him. And then he apologizes, On international television we have no conversation. You can’t you can’t apologize and have a private dinner,” said Thomas.

As per sources, the Chicago Bulls legend has allegedly apologized to Thomas through his PR team. However, since the remark was aired on national television, Thomas wants a genuine apology on the same platform. What are your thoughts on the matter?
