Struck by a motor vehicle, Oubre was a harmless pedestrian. After he was immediately taken to the hospital, a bunch of team representatives made their way over, including Daryl Morey.
While investigations are opening on the incident, Oubre’s situation wasn’t critical. However, it will be a long recovery period with the 27-year-old expected to miss a significant portion of the season. But, there is some optimism that he could return sometime this year.

In the latest development, Kelly has been released from the hospital. He will continue to work with team doctors and the medical staff to take proper care of his injuries. Even though he is expected to miss a significant period of time, the injuries aren’t considered to be season-ending.
