However, tragedy struck the Philly organization and Kelly. In a shocking development, the star is set to miss multiple weeks due to an accident. Immediately, support and love started pouring in, including a former NBA Sixth Man of the Year award winner.

Ever-trustworthy Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news. Due to a shocking vehicular accident, Kelly Oubre had been hospitalized immediately. While his condition is now stable, it was a truly scary few hours for Oubre and his loved ones.

Struck by a motor vehicle, Oubre was a harmless pedestrian. After he was immediately taken to the hospital, a bunch of team representatives made their way over, including Daryl Morey.

In the latest development, Kelly has been released from the hospital. He will continue to work with team doctors and the medical staff to take proper care of his injuries. Even though he is expected to miss a significant period of time, the injuries aren’t considered to be season-ending.
