In the past few days, new initiatives have been undertaken by the NBA icon?s widow and his foundation to add another chapter to his legacy. As people around the world of basketball come together to promote these efforts, a former teammate of Bryant joined in along with his wife, who also repped Michael Jordan.

2x All-Star’s wife adorns the apparel launched by Kobe Bryant’s foundation

A few hours ago, the wife of New York Knicks star Julius Randle, Kendra, took to her official Instagram account to share a post with her 48,000 followers. It featured her husband and herself sitting on the door of a supposed trailer van.

The couple had adorned a pair of Nike shoes, with his wife donning the iconic Air Jordans. Formed as a result of an almost 40-year partnership between Nike and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, the red and white combination was shining brightly in the photograph that the 27-year-old shared.

Other than the shoes themselves, the thing that caught the viewers? attention most was the jacket that Kendra wore. The white apparel was recently launched by Vanessa Bryant?s ?Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation?.

The collection was made available to the public as part of the foundation?s day collection. It was barely a month ago when Kobe’s eldest daughter Natalia took to her Instagram account to announce and promote the jacket. It didn?t take long for the apparel to be fully sold out after that.

The post caught the attention of Vanessa Bryant as well. She uploaded it on her Instagram story to promote it with her 15.4 Million followers. Despite the fact that things may not have always gone smoothly for Julius Randle and Kobe Bryant, Vanessa still appreciated the shout out that the 2x All-Star gave. This isn?t the first time that the Knicks player has participated in an initiative for the foundation, though.

Back in July, Randle took to his official Instagram account to share a post with his 950,000 followers. Making a visit to the Mambacita Sports Camp, the Knicks star was captured teaching a few aspiring players his on-court tricks, as well as observing their dribbling efforts. Another picture featured the 28-year-old sitting down for an interview.

The heartwarming pictures were also accompanied by a moment during which the player and his wife took a photograph with Kobe Bryant’s family. The Randles could be seen standing alongside Vanessa, Natalia, and Kobe?s two youngest daughters: Bianka and Capri.
