Along with impressive basketball skills, superstar Devin Booker also flaunts some great fashion. His style has evolved alongside his flourishing basketball career over the years. However, it seems Booker’s fashion could not impress a basketball legend’s son. In a recent episode of his podcast, the 15-year-old publicly shared his opinion on the Phoenix Suns star’s fashion sense.

Despite throwing shade at Booker’s style, Matt Barnes’ son turned back on his claims as he requested a special favor from him.

Matt Barnes’ son wants shoes from Devin Booker?

Former NBA player Matt Barnes has twin sons Isaiah and Carter Barnes and another son Ashton. The family was recently seen celebrating Twin Barnes’ 8th-grade graduation ceremony. Along with education, the Barnes twins also entertain people with their podcast, The Barnes Boyz podcast. 

In episode 8 of their podcast, Isaiah Barnes dished out his thoughts on the fashion style of some of the basketball players. While speaking of the Phoenix Suns guard’s fashion sense, Barnes said, “Devin Booker is homeless.” However, soon he realized his mistake and said, “D Book I am joking. You got personal connections too. I need shoes man.”

Much like Booker’s game, his taste for fashion and cars is also refined. So is his love for shoes. In an interview, Booker stated how his idol Kobe Bryant’s models inspired his shoe style.

Naturally, it isn’t surprising to see Barnes obsess over these precious shoes. Recently this year, Booker launched his latest sneakers inspired by Bryant.

Devin Booker’s shoes were inspired by Kobe Bryant

Earlier this September, Booker launched his signature shoes, the Nike Book 1. Nike design teams stacked a Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole with a rigid TPU sidewall for added support, with a top-loaded Nike Zoom airbag in the heel.

When asked about his inspiration, the player mentioned his idol, Bryant. He said, “I drew inspiration from all Kobe models, but especially the ones I’ve been playing in the past few years—Kobe 4, 5, and 6.”
