The Milwaukee Bucks are in no plan to finish this season strong enough to enter the playoffs with a positive outlook. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. were already struggling against teams that were out of playoff contention, and today, they had to face the mighty New York Knicks. As expected, the Bucks fell prey to Jalen Brunson’s offensive mastermind to collapse in the fourth quarter, but that is not the highlight. Former Boston Celtics icon Kendrick Perkins fired shots at Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and Khris Middleton, showcasing their underwhelming performance in a mocking tone.
Brunson had 43 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds to demolish the Bucks 122-109, to hand over their fourth straight loss. Although they have clinched a playoff spot, one more loss can massively change their position in the table. But before we dwell deep into that, here is what Perkins shared on Twitter: “Big Body Brunson will cut you everywhere but loose. Just ask Dame, Giannis, and Middleton how that 43 piece wing dinner taste!!!” These words came with a GIF of Brunson’s iconic mask celebration, and it was evident that Perkins wanted to embarrass the Bucks unit.
The Bucks lost three back-to-back games to the Washington Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Toronto Raptors, who are all at the bottom of the table. Their next battle is against the 1st seed Boston Celtics and it’s safe to say many are predicting a blowout at this point!

Now coming back to Perkins’ tweets, this would be the perfect time to talk about his love for Jalen Brunson’s game. Notably, he has endorsed the New York Knicks guard many times in the last few months, and one of them was a bold prediction on their upcoming playoff run.
Kendrick Perkins calls Jalen Brunson the best in the league
Despite star teammate Julius Randle’s absence, 6’2 Brunson has kept the Knicks alive to move to the 4th seed. Randle is out for the rest of the season, but that might not be a big blow for the Knicks, as center Mitchell Robinson is back to business. With Brunson averaging 28 points and 6.7 assists, Perkins believes he can take the Knicks to the Eastern Conference Finals. It has been 23 years since the New York franchise made it to the Conference Finals.

Also at the same, the Boston Celtics champion boldly claimed that Brunson is the best PG, not just in the East, but in the entire league.

This came after the 27-year-old guard won the Player of the Month for February. Perkins’ claims are backed by facts, but let’s see if Brunson can take the Knicks to the Finals.
