Moving Past Cardiac Arrest Pain, LeBron James and Son Bronny Share Wholesome Moment Drawing a Response From Shaquille O’Neal

Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during a USC workout session last month which sent shock waves across the world. The 18-year-old had just graduated high school and was looking forward to his time as a college basketball star. Fortunately, superstar LeBron James and his family breathed a sigh of relief when Bronny recovered. A few weeks later, Bronny has now made a public appearance with his father at Drake’s concert, and the wholesome moment caught the attention of many, including NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal.

After Bronny showed good signs of recovery, he was moved out of the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This gave the James family a huge sense of relief. A few days later, his health improved, and he was discharged from the hospital. He was advised to continue his recovery at home.

A few days after Bronny was discharged, LeBron James shared a video clip of his son playing the piano with his siblings standing beside him on Instagram. The 4x NBA champion let the world know that his son was recovering. A lot of fans and celebrities expressed that they were happy to see Bronny healthy in the comments. Even though the fans were aware of his improved health, there were no official appearances from Bronny.

Recently, he was in attendance at a Dodgers game with his family. Now, the young star finally made an official public appearance. Notably, in front of thousands of fans. As LeBron wrapped his hand around his son, they walked out with Drake on his IAAB tour in Los Angeles.

To the cheers of fans at Crypto.com Arena, the father-son duo made the grand entrance. Many fans captured the wholesome moment between LeBron and Bronny, including NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. As the video clip of the entrance was shared on social media, O’Neal re-shared it on his story.

Notably, Shaq’s son Shareef O’Neal also suffered from heart disease during his time in college. The 23-year-old has provided great help to Bronny ever since his cardiac arrest.

Shareef O’Neal’s advice to Bronny

Shareef O’Neal reached out to Bronny James after his medical emergency. Having gone through something similar, Shareef had some advice for the young star. Shareef revealed that he asked Bronny to ask him whatever questions or doubts he had. Furthermore, he also asked him to not pay much attention to the outside noise.

Shareef’s heart problem hampered his college career. The power forward did not get much time on the court after his surgery and recovery as well.
