Is Shaquille O’Neal eyeing another car? One may get an idea of Big Aristotle’s love for cars when he admitted to having 40 cars during his appearance on Angel Reese’s podcast. All are likely brand new. And most importantly, these must be custom to accommodate his towering 7’1″ frame. Given his massive collection, it might not matter if he were to forget 9 of them. Now, amidst his penchant for buying and customizing vehicles (also forgetting that he bought), the question is whether he is looking for a new one since he is parting ways with one of his current rides.
Just a few days ago on The Big Podcast, the 4x NBA champ admitted that he forgot he had 9 Hellcats. Now, you’re here for a surprise, he had 10.
These Hellcats, worth an estimated $1 million combined, were a major chunk of his collection, making their sale a big deal for the car-loving legend.

His guest, Karlous Miller, even went on to joke that he should give one of those to him if he keeps forgetting about the cars. In response, O’Neal added that while he had 10 Hellcats apart from the 30 that he mentioned earlier, he had already sold and traded 9 of them. And he has only one left now. “I had 10 of them but only got one now. I sold them; traded them,” O’Neal said. Well, this might also get sold soon.
O’Neal has already listed his 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody for sale on Supercar Blondie’s website. The car is named “Shaqcat,” and flaunts a sleek Black Laguna leather and Alcantara interior as per auto revolution. It is reportedly one of only three customized Chargers built by Las Vegas-based Forbes Performance, specifically for O’Neal.
Riding on 20-inch custom Signature Performance wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires, the Charger features striking red underglow, an illuminated grille, custom LED headlights, and wheel well lights. And as per the site, it has few flaws such as scratches.
Speaking of trading, here comes O’Neal’s favorite automotive dealer, Effortless Motors. After purchasing a Cybertruck from the company, O’Neal was so impressed that he bought a few more from the dealer. Since then, he has often bought and traded cars with the dealers.

Shaquille O’Neal forgot buying custom car
For a man with a hectic schedule like O’Neal’s, it isn’t surprising that he might forget a thing or two that he purchased or promised. However, the object in question is the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s car. As said before, the 4x NBA champ has forged a great bond with Effortless Motors after his several purchases.
This year, he bought yet another car, which is a custom Ford Escalade. And like most of the time, the company delivered the car to his home. But upon arrival, Shaq was surprised and quite clearly had forgotten about what he ordered. The good part is he can always be surprised but it’s priced at $160,000. This isn’t the first time that something like that has happened.

Last year in November, he ordered a custom Maybach Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van from the same dealers. Effortless Motors has become his favorite. He even suggested his TNT colleague, Candace Parker, to buy from them. When they showed up at his house with his new car, his response was, “Oh that’s right, I bought a Sprinter.”
Well, he might have forgotten the cars that he bought, but he doesn’t forget to always give back to the community! Not just his wealth, he also contributes with his time and kindness. And for fans who love the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s bizarre antics, this is all that matters!
