A common culprit in NBA circles is the cigar. Whether it’s Michael Jordan‘s chainsmoking or Charles Barkley facing criticism for his etiquette, cigars are a staple of the sport. Another unusual victim of the smoke was Shaquille O’Neal.

While extremely well-mannered, cigars are one vice O’Neal cannot give up. But, he’s not ashamed of it at all. Rather, he showcases it proudly.

That O’Neal has an affinity for properties is common knowledge. Recently, he had his eyes set on a property near Miami, a city he won a Championship in. But, O’Neal already owns properties across Florida. One in Orlando was even a common location for Michael Jordan.

Prior to it, his aspirations for a property in Texas, ala Derek Jeter was public knowledge. Coming back to the east coast, though, his Florida property recently saw Shaq invest a koi pond in it. Naturally, it attracted various media outlets.

One such, was the?Pond King Water Gardens?Youtube channel. Touring the entire property, they gave an inside look at the magnificent mansion. However, while the pond, the treehouse, and the basketball courts are obvious highlights, fans caught a look at a splendid painting.

Serving as the centerpiece of the bar, is a painting of Shaq holding a mighty cigar, channeling his inner LeBron James post-2020 Championship. A beautiful piece, it adorns the circular bar, another testament to O’Neal not being shy of owning up to his vices. Just as long as he doesn’t have to pay for it.

Almost 14 years ago, Shaq visited the Padron Cigar’s headquarters, right there in Florida. There, he was shocked to learn about the price of premium quality cigars. Costing $300 a pack, O’Neal was reluctant to buy the entire box.

However, upon forcing, the $400 million worth?Diesel?coughed up the price. It seems like the Los Angeles Lakers big man has come a long way since those days. Unlike Barkley, however, he faces no critique for his smoking habits.
