It’s early in 2014 and Dwyane Wade had just witnessed the harvest in the Napa Valley. There’s a mesmerizing sense of energy in the air which already convinced The Flash to venture into the competitive wine industry worth $181.9 billion. However, what he didn’t know was that within a few years, he would end up building a small but dedicated community consisting of people who would make his dream possible. Named Wade Cellars, it brings the most affordable luxury wines from Napa’s most iconic vineyards. The brand just took another step forward.
Now, in partnership with Vino Volo, Wade Cellars’ iconic wines such as Chenin Blanc will be available at the shops which are strategically placed at Airports. Yes, a big treat for the travelers. Wade and the brand announced their partnership in a clip shared on Instagram. The post caption reads, “Our dream collab has finally landed! @vinovolo and @wadecellars are teaming up, bringing travelers the Three by Wade Chenin Blanc at every Vino Volo location. And we’re toasting to more than just wine – Wade Cellars is all about breaking barriers in the wine world, making it inclusive and accessible to everyone.”

The 3x champion is a father to his lovely children, a basketball legend to the fans but he is just a student when it comes to business. Well, it doesn’t imply he lacks knowledge, what he meant is that he consistently strives to learn more about everything.
How? Last year, the champ joined the UC Davis executive leadership board. The University has one of the best viticulture departments in the nation. With this new role, his goal is to know more about the culture and hopefully make it inclusive.
During an appearance in the Point Forward podcast, the Miami Heat legend said, “You said, ‘We’, like in our culture, we usually have hard liquor and vodka, you know, forced upon us. So we oftentimes get a negative response in regard to alcohol.”
