As his speech took an emotional turn, the 74-year-old revealed the reasons for him being up there. Always one for his players, he brought up names like Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, and fellow inductee Tony Parker on stage.

As he claimed, “The second reason involves one word…And that one word is DUH,” pointing at the Spurs legends sitting beside him.?As he went up to shake their hands, everyone broke into applause. However, Pop came back to the podium and had everyone laughing in seconds.

“I’ve been waiting a long time for this. I’m not done.” Everyone?in attendance broke into raucous laughter as an instantly iconic moment was born.
