Despite all the talk about loyalties, Marcus Jordan will always be loyal to his dad and the Jordan Brand. He spoke about the empire Michael Jordan built on the latest episode of his podcast, Separation Anxiety, with Larsa Pippen. A few weeks ago, Jordan publicly disapproved of his son’s relationship with the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, MJ’s former teammate and current nemesis. All this hasn’t made Marcus’ loyalties waver.
Apart from defending his dad’s supposed disapproval, Marcus Jordan has stayed true to the Jordan identity through his podcast. This time he also spoke about ensuring Larsa stays on their side.

One of the greatest commercial partnerships in history will always be Michael Jordan and Nike. The signature shoe brand has become famous globally and is now synonymous with the Jordan Brand. His Airness’ brand power is so rooted in his family that it is the glue that keeps it together.
Marcus has been there since the inception of the Jordan Brand. He’s grown up around it and it’s a part of his life. When he and his girlfriend touched on the topic of shoes in Separation Anxiety, Marcus promptly declared there’s only one thing that touches his feet.
“I’m team Jordan, obviously, it’s my last name. So, you know, I am team Nike.” He doubled down on his point that he only wears Nike and Jordans when he’s not wearing anything designer or dressy. But in terms of athletic shoes, it’s Jordan or nothing.
He blatantly snubbed all of Nike’s rivals in one breath, including Adidas, New Balance, and Kangaroos. “There’s none of that in the Jordan household.”
But what about the Pippen household? Apparently, Larsa hasn’t got the memo yet and her boyfriend is going to fix that. “It’s actually several shoes in your [Larsa’s] closet right now that I cannot wait to burn or throw in the trash. Anything with 3 stripes has gotta get out of the house.”
The Real Housewives of Miami star didn’t seem to mind. She laughed it off on air. Perhaps with the supposed strain with Marcus’ dad, she might be open to that gesture too.
Marcus Jordan has great plans for the family empire
Michael Jordan’s children are no outsiders to the Jordan Brand. They’re steeped in it and advancing it to great heights. Marcus is the president of the Jordan Brand, so his commitment to it doesn’t come out of nowhere.

This comes shortly after Michael declared a resounding “No” when asked if he approves of his son’s relationship with Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife. Marcus defended his father’s statement on the podcast before, claiming it’s how they rib each other in the family. Whatever their relationship drama may be, it clearly doesn’t come in the way of work.
