It seems that Michael Jordan passed on his competitive nature to his children as well. His daughter, Jasmine, was born during the final year of the Chicago Bulls‘ first three-peat and witnessed the second three-peat firsthand. In doing so, she also observed her father’s ruthless nature and likely got influenced. That spirit was on full display as she made an open declaration to her Instagram followers. The 30-year-old has followed in her father’s footsteps and taken up the reins in Jordan Brand. But it turns out she has also inherited the infamous Jordanesque trait of her father.

Jasmine shared an Instagram post, ?I am my mom meanest child do I care? Absolutely Not.? She also tagged her mother, Juanita Vanoy, asking her to attest to her take. She wrote, ?@iamtheonlyonejuanitavanoy will confirm! And if I?m mean, it?s for a reason!?

Many, including the 6x champion?s former teammates, stated how this one element helped him thrive in the league. The legend hated to lose, and you could see it in every part of his career.?

He seems to have passed on the same trait to his daughter. Just like her father, Jasmine says she always has a reason for it. We wonder if it?s the same success-chasing behavior that Docuseries The Last Dance reported when Jordan punched his teammate, Steve Kerr, after an argument in the 1995-96 season.

However, there were no lingering resentments between the two players, which proved to be the case in 1997. During Game 6 of the 1997 NBA finals, the Chicago Bulls legend confidently passed to Kerr, who made the game-winning shot.
