Michael Jordan‘s ex-wife celebrated her 65th birthday on the 13th of June. After her expensive $168 million divorce from the basketball legend, Juanita Vanoy remained out of the public eye for years. Now with three of her children thriving in their careers, and her entrepreneurial venture taking off, Vanoy is rather visible. And on her birthday, the producer and businesswoman shared a message on her Instagram to express her gratitude.

“So blessed and grateful,” Vanoy wrote in the caption of the post that featured a slideshow of some of the best moments of her birthday celebrations. Raised in Chicago along with five of her sisters, Vanoy took on various jobs before she met Michael Jordan in 1985. The two had 3 kids, who now make a joyful part of her life. The second of the lot, Marcus came to be the first one to join Juanita in her celebrations.

“Happy birthday Mom!! We love you so much. You are our rock,” Marcus commented with lots of heart and sparkle emojis. Last year, the 33-year-old had also shared a throwback picture of Michael, Juanita, and little Jeffery to celebrate the occasion. Further, right under his brother’s comment, Vanoy’s oldest son Jeffery Jordan commented on her post, “Happy Birthday mom! I love you“. Jeffery even shared a childhood picture with his mother and captioned it- “Happy Birthday Ma! I love you!!!“

Though their parents split in 2006, both have remained present in their kids’ lives. “It was important for me to remain in my kids’ lives as much as possible, even through college,” she had stated on putting her business dreams on hold. Now as she treads both paths successfully, Vanoy has found herself quite the following, having fans and close ones swarm to celebrate her special day.

One of her followers wrote a simple message for her and wrote, “Happy Birthday Ma. Juanita, I pray that you had a great one.” While another expressed, “Juanita 🎉🎉🎉Your Absolutely Amazing & Magnificent,” and 1992 Jordan agrees. “[She’s] very nice, very demanding. Very caring, good mother,” he had showered love. 

Of late, Juanita has been engaged in the running of her luxury boutique, Juanita World, for which she most recently held a sale and seems to landing successful projects as a producer. Considerate, a fan suggested the celebrations stay longer. “Happy Birthday Blessings Beautiful lady🤩Enjoy the whole rest of the month won’t you.” Well, She deserves one! 

Jennifer, one of her followers and probably a good friend of Vanoy wrote, “Happy & Blessed Birthday my beautiful friend!” Another penned a heartwarming message to wish Vanoy. The message read, “Happy Birthday, may the almighty Lord continue to light your paths, make your sympathy continue to be contagious because humanity needs you. long life.”

Juanita has often been involved in philanthropic activities, committing to youth and giving back to society – probably where much love stems from. On the side, she also ensured to assure her children and be the reliance they need. “My mom was more about, ‘I’m going to raise you how I think you should be and once you become an adult you decide what you want to do’,” her youngest daughter Jasmine had relayed.

Though no wishes were publically made by her or Jeffery, the latter had shared a throwback about two days ago. The picture showed MJ and Vanoy posing together at a restaurant opening in 1993. He added the king and queen emojis along with a DNA one. While the Chicago Bulls legend is married to Yvette Prieto, Vanoy has shifted her focus on her children and business.
