Michael Jordan’s Ex-Wife Juanita Finds Positive in Chicago Sky’s Defeat as She Celebrates Angel Reese’s Major Feat

Angel Reese has been nothing but phenomenal for Chicago Sky. She has successfully managed to take her game to the next level in her personal as well as professional life. The performances have received praise from people all around the globe, especially a Chicago native. After things did not go her way, Michael Jordan‘s ex-wife Juanita Vanoy, decided to share some positive words, to show her support for the 22-year-old.

The Chicago Sky are 2-3 this season after they lost to the Seattle Storm. Despite Angel Reese scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists, the Sky lost by 9 points, 68-77, to the Storm. Thus, earning her first WNBA double-double in her rookie career. Although Chicago Sky lost the game, Juanita Vanoy is all praises for the ‘Bayou Barbie’.

The Chicago Bulls legend’s ex-wife shared a picture of Reese on her Instagram and wrote a supportive caption.”Well, we didn’t get the W, but Angel Reese got a double double 🏀 #WNBA #chicagosky.” Seeing the performance even the admin of Chicago Sky’s social media wrote “BIG TIME BARBIEEE” on X.

In recording the double-double she also became part of an exclusive list. She has joined Sylvia Fowles as the only player to record a double-double for the Chicago Sky within their first 5 career games. Interestingly, both represented LSU during their collegiate days. Even during the last game loss against the Connecticut Sun, Vanoy had a motivating message for Reese. She wrote on her Instagram, and added, “We’ll get the next one…” And it seems a former LSU graduate is learning business skills from a successful entrepreneur.

Angel Reese shares special news for her fans

After the launch of her website for all her merch available on the same platform, the ‘Chi-Town Barbie’ gave her followers another reason to celebrate. She recently took to her Instagram stories to announce a Memorial Day discount. The fans could buy anything and everything related to the Sky rookie on the website, from exclusive jackets to jerseys. The website has products for young kids and women.

In the story, a Reese figurine makes a basket telling her 3.2 million Instagram followers that she is giving a 15% discount site-wide through Remembrance Day. She captioned her story, “Happy Memorial Day. Shop Now.” Even Juanita had a special announcement during the weekend regarding her business Juanita Wear. “We’re baaaaaacckk! With our biggest sale ever!! Juanitawear.shop Happy Memorial Day Weekend,” also with a tag, “Get ready for summer.”

Despite a loss, Reese had firm support from Jordan’s ex-wife. Maybe, one day even the 6x champion would support Chicago Sky in person. What remains borderline shocking is that he has never attended WNBA games. At least, there have been no public sightings of the same. With Angel Reese on record-breaking streaking, only time will tell if he will grace the WNBA games and boost their popularity further.
