NBA veteran Eddie A Johnson recently added some fuel to the Michael Jordan vs LeBron James debate. Although there is no end to the GOAT conversations between fans, it always adds to the element of interest in the sport. After LeBron’s last game against the Golden State Warriors, the NBA veteran was hyping up his favorite athlete.
However, in his quest to praise LeBron, Johnson ended up taking some shots at Jordan fans. Needless to say, the fans retaliated but Johnson didn’t back down from the argument either.
He posted, “LeBron making 2 game winning FT’s , just made MJ fan boys and that water boy on Fox sports spasm. 😂” An MJ fan responded with, “Why would anyone care, what’s the percentage of him doing this vs the percentage of him not doing it?” Like most sports arguments, there were some receipts that the LeBron fans wanted to post. A fan of the LA Lakers superstar posted his fourth-quarter and overtime stat in the NBA finals. Johnson didn’t miss the opportunity to drag MJ fans once again. The NBA veteran posted, “Yea but MJ stoops will say it’s a string attached to the ball and the ball had a magnet in it. 😂”

LeBron James’ historic performance against the Warriors
The Lakers vs Warriors was one of the best games in recent memory. A legend of the game on each side and the squads refusing to back down from a fight. The game went into double overtime before eventually ending in the favor of the Lakers. Both the teams gave their all and made it memorable for the fans. Stephen Curry was in his element and scored 46 points that game with a clutch three-pointer with less than 5 seconds on the clock.
LeBron on the other hand made everyone forget that this is his 21st season in the league. The 39-year-old scored 36 points with a career-high 20 rebounds and 12 assists in the game that ended 145-144 for his team. On top of that, he buried two clutch free throws with only 1.2 seconds left in the game in the second overtime and helped his team come out on top. Those two free throws were the point of contention between Johnson and some MJ fans who refuse to acknowledge the greatness of the Lakers superstar.
