Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade?s NBA career is arguably one of the most decorated careers in the history of the sport. He is widely regarded as the third best shooting guard of all time behind only Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. After he retired from the NBA in 2019, the Miami Heat legend continued to make bold and successful business decisions off the court, securing his and his family?s long-term financial future.

In a recent podcast interview, the Miami Heat legend unveils the missing piece in his community that he brings to the ?family table?. He also talks about his future plans with his family and how he approaches parenting.

Wade recently was part of a podcast interview with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner on the ?Point Forward? YouTube Channel. Evan Turner asks Dwyane Wade about the access/support he gives to his children and whether he makes sure to not ?spoil? them.

Dwyane Wade responds, ?I don?t know if I?m doing a good job? if I?m not spoiling or over spooling?like I said, I?ll find out. One thing I do know is what I bring to the table from the time away from my family.?.

Wade further explains, ?Often building the things that we have, I bring resources to the table?I want my kids to tap into my resources, I don?t want to do everything for you but I want you to understand that everything you have the opportunity to be a part of and do.?.

The Hall of Famer then talks about the black community, ?and that?s the one thing in our community that we lack. We lack resources. So I try to tell my kids ?don?t run away from it. Don?t run away from how hard I?ve worked to have some of the simplest resources that are not simple in our community”.?.

Wade then talks about how he thinks about the future of Zaiire, Kaavia, and his other kids and the things they ?should get into?.?

Wade mentions in the podcast interview, ?For me, Zaire is the CEO of all this for me. I?m 41 right now and I look at Zaire, By the time I?m 55, you?re going to be 35?come on CEO it?s going to be time for you to run the show.?.

He further explains the aspirations he has for his eldest son. He explains that Zaire eventually will have to learn about the business. He further explains, ?You?ve (Zaire) got to be on somebody?s calls, you?ve got to travel to China with me, you?ve got to see how this stuff works.?.

Andre Iguodala then laughs as he says, ?He does know the price of all kinds of alcohol? to which Dwyane Wade laughingly responds, ?He know more than me!?.

The Miami Heat legend then talks about watching his kids grow up, and how he notices them respond to different challenges in life. It’s clear the 3x NBA champion is a doting father who wants to provide all that he can, in order for his kids to excel in their respective fields.
