Seemingly, the partnership turned out to be such a success that the said ex-NBA star recently counted it among the highlight moments of his professional career. If you didn’t guess it in the first go, the player in discussion is Milwaukee Bucks’ former guard Brandon Jennings.
Jennings, in a podcast interview with Deshawn, was asked if he’d would rather grow as a media member or as a clothing designer. “Neither. I wanna just keep growing as a man,” he replied. He, however, expressed how blessed he was to be able to stop playing basketball and get into his second career — fashion — right away. Something that gave him the opportunity to find himself again.
“… Find out who I really was, and what’s the next level we could take… Fashion brand, the media, giving back… Collabing with Curry’s Brand, the Milwaukee Bucks. So everything’s been, like, full circle for me right now, and it’s a beautiful thing…” Jennnings said.

For those unaware, years ago, Jennings was working as an intern at Under Armour, crafting his Bloodline shoe and collection. Fast forward to 2023, and now he was watching his own brand, Tuff Crowd, align with one of basketball’s most iconic names, Stephen Curry.

“Seeing Steph take over Under Armour and create Curry Brand—it’s been great to see our transitions from basketball into fashion and owning our own brands,” Jennings shared as per an article by Yahoo Sports, reflecting on their parallel journeys.

At its core, the collection revolved around 11:11–a powerful symbol for Jennings. “The meaning behind the 11:11 is staying aligned, staying true to what you do. And Curry with his spiritual beliefs, we’re just both in line,” Jennings explained.

Jennings described pacing nervously, only to watch the Steph dominate in his creation. “It was just so surreal. The greatest shooter, the greatest point guard wearing my brand—it meant everything I’ve been through has been worth it.”
