One such unknown aspect came to light this veteran’s week. Magic Johnson’s wife, Cookie, took to celebrating the auspicious week paying her respects. In particular, she wanted to give proper credit to her elder sister.

Taking to Instagram, the 64 year-old Cookie had gushing words about the Air Force veteran. “Happy Veterans Weekend everybody! I want to honor all the Veterans, especially highlighting my sister Patricia Janice Kelly, who enlisted in 1978 and retired in 1988 from the U.S. Air Force! Thank you to Pat and all the Veterans who have been serving our country. Your dedication is truly inspiring!”
