Game of Thrones fans, brace yourselves, as Magic Johnson’s surprise for his wife is here to hit you with the nostalgia. The couple is presently on one of their annual summer trips, exploring various destinations in Europe. And the most recent stop is an exciting one for a whole lot of people.

The 5x NBA champ shared a series of photos in his recent Instagram post, his most recent stop being Croatia. “We spent the day exploring Old Town Dubrovnik, where Game of Thrones was filmed including the Black Water Bay scenes,” read the caption to the post. Notably, Cookie Johnson and the Johnsons’ family friend, Rodney Peete, are huge GOT fans, as stated by Buck in his caption.

The fans of the series would remember the significance of the Battle of Blackwater — the largest battle in the War of the Five Kings. And the instance when Stannis Baratheon nearly claimed the Iron Throne. So it’s understandable when Magic Johnson stated, “This was definitely an exciting day of the trip for them (Cookie and Peete).” The fact Buck and Cookie visited here last year as well tells enough about their love for the place.

The group, which also included Holly Peete, and Mike and Natasha Triplett, seemed to have concluded their day after dining at Nautika restaurant. Notably, Magic’s Europe trip had started with LaTanya and Samuel L. Jackson, John and Vicki Palmer, and Cedric the Entertainer and his wife Lorna.

Further during the journey, the Johnsons united with their children and parted ways after nearly two weeks into the vacation. The Peetes and the Tripletts have been the recent addition to this summer trip. In the midst, a few encounters with popular faces weren’t void of Johnson’s glamorous trip.
