Stephen Curry‘s season has come to an early end, but he has added a few accolades and achievements to his resume in the postseason. Guess who else has 10 All-NBA selections in their career? It is none other than Magic Johnson, who decided to share a few words about Curry on achieving this impressive feat.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend shared, “To one of my favorite players of all time, Steph Curry. Congratulations my brother, on being named to your 10th All-NBA selectionWe’ve always been linked together. You know I love youYou’ve changed the game of basketball in the NBA.” Johnson also wished luck to Curry ahead of the Olympics.

This appreciation does not end with Johnson. We have Dallas Mavericks icon Dirk Nowitzki here as well. Nowitzki shared, “Only 26 of us have accomplished double figures, so congrats on that. And ofcourse on a personal note, always been a fan. Keep shooting those threes from the half-court, my man, I’ll be watching.” Steph did lead the NBA in 3-point field goals with 357 for the season –marking his 8th time.

Head coach of the Warriors Steve Kerr had a few words for Curry too. He shared“Ten straight years, or at least ten out of eleven I guess, with the one year with the injury to be All-NBA is just a testament to Steph’s work ethic…It’s just an amazing accomplishment.” The only time Curry missed out on the team in the last 11 years was in 2019-20 due to a left-hand fracture. Now continuing his franchise record for the most selections, Curry finally has something to smile about and take pride in after a disappointing play-in elimination.
