However, the relationship did not continue for long. During the 2009-10 season, the Flash signed a contract with the Jordan Brand. In 2011, the superstar released his first signature shoe for the Jordan brand. However, the partnership did not last for long either. After his contract expired in 2012, Wade signed with Li-Ning.

The Way of Wade line is now in its 10th iteration and is becoming a fan favorite. For his part in the growth and success of the brand, Li-Ning offered Wade a lifetime deal in 2018, which he signed for an undisclosed amount.
