I started to talk more.” Shaunie Henderson revealed, giving credit to Keion Henderson for encouraging her to write her memoir. In Undefeated she also wrote about how the wedding in 2022 could have been cancelled at the last minute. 2 years after the wedding, the Basketball Wives producer has an easy caption for her husband on his birthday.

Easy also because the kids and the Pastor share a dynamic of their own. And even when the news was broken to them about the engagement, the boys asked Keion why didn’t he ask for their blessing sooner. The relationship has been solid since February 2020, when Shaunie Henderson took to Instagram to express her love for her husband. Using the song This Is from Ella Mai. She wrote, “This is an easy caption…Happy Birthday to the LOVE OF MY LIFE! No need to explain what’s unexplainable. I love you baby! ❤️🎂”

Keion replied in the comments, “Thank you love❤️.” The couple has been active first with the promotion of the book and then for the Cry Out event in Houston. Similarly, Shaquille O’Neal was very active in Texas but up in the north. O’Neal has been a fan of the Texas state and first bought a property back in 2022. And now the former Lakers legend has potentially secured another investment, this time worth  $1.7 million.

This time in Rockwall County which is located within the prestigious Ridge Lakes. A 4670-square-foot home with a 500-square-foot pool house. However, there is no guarantee that Shaq will move into that property. But Shaq kept up with his words when he spoke about how he would always provide, protect, and love Shaunie Henderson.

These comments came after Keion and Shaunie Henderson celebrated their 1st anniversary. But did you know Shaunie was in two minds about whether to go ahead with her second wedding or to cancel it?

Shaunie Henderson on losing her father

The supposed date and venue for the wedding were in the Caribbean destination of Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club on May 28, 2022. And 2 months before this, Shaunie Henderson’s father passed away due to natural causes. The wedding prep was almost done and the entire situation made her emotional.

In her memoir, she wrote, “I didn’t know how to disconnect dad from the wedding planning.” She continued, “Do I just cancel everything that’s going on that’s so wonderful right now to sit in this place of grief and pain?” While she missed her father, her mother at whose place the kids and Shaunie used to stay after the divorce gave her encouragement.

Keion and Shaunie Henderson got married on the agreed date and even the kids showed up for the wedding. Her daughters, Me’Arah and Amirah were part of her bridal party. The youngest son, Shaqir, wanted to be the one to walk his mom down the aisle as her ‘favorite.’
