His recent sweet message to his son is just another one of his expressions of love toward his family.
The Answer and his ex-wife Tawanna Turner separated in the year 2013. And Tawanna was given physical custody of their five children. However, from award function speeches to family vacations, the four-time scoring champion has always conveyed his feelings for his family.

In spite of a rough life, the 11-time NBA All-Star has never lost hope. And that has been evident in his career as well as his personal life. He honored his childhood friend by naming his son Isaiah Rahsaan Iverson after him. Gun violence took the life of Iverson’s friend Rahsaan in Virginia in 2001.
This was shortly before Iverson’s infamous “practice” comments as well. The former point guard also has Rahsaan’s name tattooed on his neck.
As the player’s son Isaiah turns 20 this year, he took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday message. He shared some snaps of their moments together and captioned, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD……. LOVE DADDY”

Allen Iverson gets teary-eyed during his Hall of Fame speech

The athlete was inducted into the Hall of Fame in the year 2016. During his speech, he praised his family for their support and love.
Expressing his love, he shared, “Isaiah you’re a smart man and I am proud of you; follow your dreams and keep doing what you are doing man and I am proud of you.”
His children were also misty-eyed seeing their father achieve the highest honor in basketball.
