After Damian Lillard was said to have expressed interest in joining the Miami Heat, DJ Khaled said on the podcast that joining the Heat would be the ideal choice for him if he wanted a ring since he might earn three or four after playing for them.
He may also win rings for his former team after playing for the Miami Heat, just like LeBron James did after leaving Miami to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers and win a ring there.
Since Lillard asked to be traded this summer, it was no secret that he wanted to play in Miami. Eventually though, the Portland Trail Blazers transferred him to Miami’s Eastern Conference rivals.
