Last year around this time of the year, Marcus Jordan had trouble in his love life. Ultimately, he and Larsa Pippen would break up and go their separate ways. But it seems the new year brings another controversy surrounding the Michael Jordan son. This time it’s more serious and potentially relates to his previous action in France six months ago. The netizens were quick to blame the Bulls legend for his role, or lack of, during this entire debacle.
“Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail for DUI, coc-ine possession, and resisting arrest, per @TMZ.” As per reports, the youngest son of the 6x NBA Champion was arrested. “We’ve reached out to Marcus … so far no word back.” As of now, there has been no comment from any of Jordan’s representatives on the same.
Seeing this, the fans were quick to conclude that the behavior they had associated with players of the previous generation was “Parties like daddy 😂.” Michael Jordan once cleared the air about his participation with his teammates. On The Last Dance docuseries, MJ revealed that as a rookie, he distanced himself from some teammates who partied in their off-time. Let’s not forget that this year is also the 40th year celebration of the Jordan Brand. But even that has mixed responses from the fans.

Since Christmas, the ‘Banned’ campaign has been hyping up the next release. For this campaign, the shoes on The Spirit statue of the Bulls legend near the United Center were masked. However, fans are upset because only 10,000 pairs will be available at 23 stores in the United States.
One of those locations is Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room. So, there is a chance that outrage has spilled into the current situation of Marcus’ arrest.

The Last Dance revealed how MJ realized in his rookie year that most of his teammates were in a room, doing dr-gs. “I walk in, and practically the whole team is in there.” But he stayed away, as he never wanted to throw away his career. One netizen reminded Marcus about such parties, “Heard them stories from his Pops about those 80’s Chicago Bulls.”
This isn’t the first time someone caught Marcus Jordan with white powder at a party. In August, last year, when he was partying in France with friends. At the time, there were rumors of him dating Ashley Stevenson, but she later denied any romantic involvement. “I’m single… Marcus and I are NOT dating and haven’t been.” During the trip, there were pictures of the Trophy Room owner with some ‘white powder’ as he was seen sniffing.
However, there was no official confirmation of the same. Still, some fans connected the dots between the two issues and blamed the Bulls legend. “Is it a DNA thing?” Another fan even brought in the GOAT debate, to put over LeBron James. “Apple don’t fall too far from the tree 😂 Lebrons kids would never.” Even Gilbert Arenas previously echoed this sentiment.

The former Wizards star stated, “I mean because Michael Jordan’s son got in trouble and Michael Jordan didn’t get that scrubbed off the internet.” But one of MJ’s loyalists rightfully defended the Bulls legend. “This is a grown a-s man, why drag MJ’s name in this?” As stated before, there has been no official comment from the Jordans.
