We are a little over a month away from the 2023-24 NBA Playoffs. Before we know it, April will soon come knocking on our doors and the top 16 teams in the league will kick off the post-season. It’s also around this time that playoff Jimmy Butler rises and shows the NBA his best Michael Jordan impression. That prospect has the championship-winning duo of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett excited for the Miami Heat.

Previously, the red-hot form of the Heat made the pro-turned-analyst Kendrick Perkins swallow his own words on national television. Now, they are making his legendary teammates give the table toppers a warning about what’s to come. On his podcast, KG Certified, Garnett and Pierce announced who they think is the biggest threat for the Boston Celtics in the playoffs.

Between the Heat and the Bucks, the Truth quickly chose the former. He said, “They’ve got swag vs the Celtics. Celtics didn’t beat Milwaukee in the playoffs.” Continuing his praises for Jimmy Butler, Pierce added, “Miami, it’s something about them. When April comes around, Jimmy Butler and (Erik) Spoelstra get their game plan together. And the dude be turnin’ into something else. So, they’re confident.”

The 10x NBA All-Star also talked about Milwaukee Bucks and their renewed game. He said, “I don’t know which way this Milwaukee team is gonna go. I mean, obviously, they a huge threat when you got Giannis and now Doc is starting to get his mould of the team together. ‘Cause now they playin’ on both sides of the ball. They was just more of an offensive team.”

In their three matchups this season, the Celtics have always taken the victory home. However, in two of those matches, it was a close game with Miami giving them strong competition. Furthermore, the Heat have recently improved their stats and have won 9 games in their last 15 matchups. They have also given play-off-worthy displays on the court and beaten several teams at the top of the table since the All-Star break.

Considering that Jimmy Butler unravels his inner monster during the playoffs, it is considerable that the Heat takes over the gap of a handful of points and beat the Celtics. While the latter stands at an impressive 50-14 win-loss record, the Heat gives all the signs of getting back on their feet, despite a 35-29 on their scorecard.
