The discussion on the best NBA player is never-ending. However, there are too many intricacies in basketball and it’s hard to decide. But then again, some people are confident about their opinion. One of them is former NBA player Mark Jackson. He is not just confident but has all his faith in his answer. Recently, in his show, the former star was asked to name players who could dunk the ball in a single attempt.

While there was a bit of confusion at first, as soon as the question was clarified to him, Jackson made his point clear. He named Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant to his co-host and son’s question. However, there’s another name that was missing, according to his son, Jackson Jr.

He described how LeBron James should be in the answer. In response, Jackson shared, “I love him he’s in the goat discussion he’s had an incredible career and he is absolutely 100% great I’ve witnessed it but if you ask me one shot I’m taking the guys that I said.”

Michael Jordan’s shooting prowess

Despite numerous comparisons and debates, Jordan unquestionably stands as one of the greatest NBA players, showcasing remarkable dunking and scoring skills. His mindset and determination in clutch performances are simply unmatched. It’s not surprising to see the Chicago Bull‘s champion in the conversation. Some even believe that no matter what, it will be hard to match Jordan’s level.

Then again, the champ was often compared with the late Los Angeles Lakers legend Bryant. True to the claims, Bryant also possessed unparalleled shooting skills. Now, Jackson’s son brought James into the conversation as well. King James has been previously targeted for his questionable shots and criticized for being a below-average three-point shooter and a struggling free-throw shooter.
