Things have not been good in Los Angeles ever since the Lakers won the In-season tournament. LeBron James and the rest of the team have struggled to hold on to their initial momentum and have lost 8 of their last 10 games. This has now brought the team to the 10th seed. After witnessing the recent struggles of the team, Lou Williams recently revealed his thoughts on the lackluster Lakers.

I have no idea what’s their best lineup. I don’t think they know. They are still trying to figure it out and find five guys that can mesh and get em over that hump… As usual … they gonna be in a lot of trade talks. They’re gonna be active at this deadline and tryna patch up some things,” said the 3x Sixth Man of the Year.

Although Anthony Davis has been playing so far without any injuries, the team has not found its footing. It is almost as if the Lakers have gone down in production right as the rest of the NBA has started to figure out their roster and players for the season. The Lakers are right where they are supposed to be. According to Williams, even with LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the team, Williams thinks that the way the roster is currently constructed, the team should be a .500, middle-of-the-pack team.

After the Lakers’ recent loss to the Miami Heat, LeBron left without attending the press conference. He scored just 12 points in the team’s loss against the Heat. It was reported by an ESPN employee that LeBron James argued with head coach Darvin Ham in a hallway.

Players like Austin Reeves and D’Angelo Russell have also not lived up to expectations. They are not playing at the same level as they did last year. However, in recent games, they have been figuring things out. As the NBA is usually pretty strict on players avoiding the media and press conferences, there is a possibility that the NBA might fine LeBron for leaving early.
