Larsa Pippen Shuns Michael Jordan’s Son Over “Impractical Request” While Using Her Mother to Back Up Her Take

Larsa Pippen and Michael Jordan‘s son Marcus have become the talk of the NBA community ever since their relationship went public earlier this year. A complex dynamic, the intertwined histories of the two make this bond quite interesting and ambiguous. While the two have discussed not being acquaintances prior to their relationship, the 16-year age difference adds another layer to the equation. To address any misconceptions that may arise due to their intricate connections, the pair recently announced the release of their podcast, Separation Anxiety.

The weekly podcast sees the lovebirds take on various topics as the two dive deeper into each other’s psyche. While this week’s episode featured many different subjects, it revolved around Marcus’ “impractical request” which saw Larsa shun him while using her own mother to back up her opinion.

During a recent episode of their podcast titled, ‘Pricey Gifts and Freudian Slips’, the couple discussed various topics including one surrounding Marcus’ “impractical request.” While asking a question regarding “jealousy” the 32-year-old was heard querying his lover, “If your partner says you need to stop texting with members of the opposite sex is that an impractical request?”

Larsa was quick to reply to this as she stated, “I think it depends on who the person you are texting is.” Elaborating her statement, the 49-year-old believed that the person you are talking to could be a friend or a business partner so it wouldn’t make sense to just stop talking.

Continuing to clarify her point of view, the Real Housewives of Miami star explained, “Jealousy is okay, but there has to be a reason for it. You cannot be jealous over anything.” The mother of 4 children then went on to use her own mother as an example as she tried to back up her take.

Larsa uses her own mother to back up her take

While continuing to speak with Marcus about his “impractical request“, Larsa went on to back up her “jealousy” claims by throwing her mother under the bus. Explaining her point about not being “jealous over anything” the 49-year-old proceeded to use her own mom as she backed up her take by stating, “My mom is really jealous, just so you know.”

Recounting a story of when she brought a nanny to her parent’s house, Larsa remembered her mother being jealous of the nanny. Elaborating on the story, the TV personality stated, “She (Nanny) wasn’t even acknowledging my mom and was trying to be all funny on my dad. And my mom in Arabic said to me ‘You guys are not staying here tonight.‘”
