Is Larsa Pippen's decision to keep her condo a smart move for her single lifestyle?

In the news: The Bravo star changed her mind. Larsa Pippen had been looking for a new home for a while now. After an exhaustive hunt, the reality TV actress landed a great deal and bought a lavish new home in Miami for herself and her family. But she seems to have swiftly stepped back from her previous words regarding her $3.375 million worth penthouse.

Speaking to Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap, Larsa shared that her new house is more lavish, perfect for her family and, most importantly, provides the one thing she bought it for—privacy! After staying in her penthouse for more than three years, she craved more privacy but as the host suggested, the condo offered more of the single lifestyle vibes. Soon, she seemed to be wanting to keep the condo that had been on the market for quite some time.

While Larsa initially wanted to sell her Miami condo and then shift to her new home. The actress wanted a bigger space for herself and her ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan. But the two broke up soon after Valentine’s Day this year, and the now-single actress might be thinking about keeping her Miami condo to herself and enjoying her single life.

“I want to do both so I’m not selling the condo. So the weekends will be single Larsa and the weekdays will be like grandma vibes like just super like family vibes,” Larsa declared.

For those who don’t know, Larsa spent a whopping $3.375 million to buy this penthouse, located at Paramount Miami Worldcenter at 851 NE 1st Ave. She put it on the market for $4.2 million in January 2023. However, back then, she must have really wanted to get rid of it that she was even willing to lower the offer. After the 3,312-square-foot unit house stayed on the market for more than two months, she decided to slash the price to $3.9 million in March. Well, her offer further went down, with the penthouse reportedly listed at $3,750,000.

Larsa revealed that this is the first property she bought with her own money after divorcing Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. “I paid for it with my own money, I didn’t use any of my money from my divorce. I’m really proud of myself. It’s my first real investment,” she said on season 5 premiere of Real Housewives of Miami.

So, it’s likely that she will keep this condo while enjoying her privacy in her new house. It is for herself.  So, as she mentioned, it makes sense why selling the condo might not be her plan for now. Keeping that plan aside, Larsa seemed to be looking forward to her new home as she continued to rave about the amenities.

She shared that it includes a basketball court for her two basketball-loving kids. Justin plays college basketball for the University of Michigan. While Scotty Pippen Jr. is dominating in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies. At the same time, her daughter, Sophia, prefers to spend most of her time in LA.

Larsa wants to have their rooms already set and prepared. She is already planning some major renovations. The thing is that the actress appeared in Season 2 of House of Villains, which has a prize of $200,000. In a recent conversation with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Larsa said that if she won the prize money, she would like to use it for some renovations in her house. “Well, I just bought a house, so maybe I would redo the closet or something. It’s gonna be so good,” she said. Perhaps a major change might be in store.
