Larsa Pippen’s relationship history has left her quadruple bitten, 10x shy. Despite swearing off athletes, she’d go and date another one. Marcus Jordan included. (Yeah, he never went pro but he was a basketball player.) Since her highly publicized relationship and breakup with Michael Jordan’s son, the RHOM star is ready for what’s ahead. Whether it’s House of Villains, the new season of her Bravo show, the Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, her kids’ rising careers, and even dating. But she’s setting some ground rules for her next relationship. Athletes need not apply.

Ahead of the Bravo Fan Fest, Access Hollywood caught up with Pippen in her amazing condo that only gets better every time we see it on RHOM. And she gave away her 2025 plans for her personal life, which have to do with her freshly single status.

“Honestly, I thought when I was newly single, I thought I would be going out a whole lot more, and like just being out and free and stuff. But I haven’t really been going out as much as I should be.” Which is contracting all those instances Pippen was spotted partying with her co-stars and friends recently, including the 2024 launch party for the Larsa Light.

But she’s also somewhat of an empty nester while her youngest kid, Sophia, lives with Scottie Pippen in Los Angeles and she probably expects to do more. “So I think 2025 is going to be Larsa going out more and being more social.”

There is a side quest to upgrade her social life. Larsa is afraid she attracts “a certain type of guy” and wants to meet different kinds of people. Even the hosts pointed out that the last time she was on Access Hollywood, she spoke about wanting to date a doctor or lawyer. Larsa’s feelings haven’t changed and she’s willing to go to some extreme rom-com lengths, like breaking her leg to land in a good-looking doctor’s ER.

Anything but the specific professionals she’s dated so far as she said, “No more athletes… we’re off that.” Her criteria are up to her. But it’s not new. She’s said the same… between dating athletes.

Larsa Pippen’s shaky record with athletes

Larsa and Scottie Pippen were married from 1997 to 2021 but were on-and-off at least since 2016. After finalizing their divorce for good, she said in 2022, “I’m trying to avoid athletes.” But there’s a backstory to that statement.

2020 was dramatic in Larsa’s personal life. Amid the divorce proceedings, she had a brief fling with Tristan Thompson. She’d introduce him to the Kar-Jenner fam and he began dating Khloé Kardashian from there. Larsa was okay with it because they weren’t that serious. “Which is fine, I don’t even care. It’s whatever. I’m the type of person that doesn’t chase what’s not for me,” she said while admitting she had a thing with Thompson. But she denied ever having an affair with him while he was with Khloe.

In the same year, she had another fling with NBA pro-Malik Beasley. It was blink-and-you-miss-it, but a whirlwind. Firstly, because Beasley was still married. And later created an awkward scenario when Beasley was teammates with Scotty Pippen Jr. at the Lakers for some time.

They broke up after four months and Larsa claimed to swear off athletes. She would be linked up to Michael Jordan’s son amid a brewing feud between her ex-husband and Marcus’ dad. They’d go public in 2023. Marcus played college basketball at UCF before leaving the team. While he’s not an athlete, he’s athlete-adjacent.

Larsa and Marcus broke up earlier this year and she’s been linked to a few people since, including country music star Zay Wilson. But that’s clearly not on since she’s talking about finding a new romance in 2025. But again, she’s not looking at athletes because. “their lives are so stressful.“ We’d have to wait and see if she sticks to it.
