Two of the biggest names that occupy the NBA News Field are ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Both reporters are known for providing detailed scoops at the earliest. While there is an unspoken rivalry between the two regarding NBA updates, Shams showcased his talents on the basketball court recently. The stunning clip left many fans in disbelief, including NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal‘s son, Shareef O’Neal.
Believe it or not, Charania is actually a protégé of Wojnarowski. During his time with Yahoo Sports, Charania was tasked to write news for ‘The Vertical’, Yahoo’s basketball site. The duo shared a co-worker-type relationship. In 2017, the boss left for ESPN, while the protégé followed his destiny a year later. Since then, the duo has engaged in a friendly rivalry.
