“Not sure how you do it but you always seem to answer the phone no matter what hour it is and I will ALWAYS do the same for you,” Kim Kardashian wished her friend La La Anthony on her special day, highlighting their bond. And now, the best friends are ready to roll out a fresh project for their fans.

In June this year, La La Anthony also signed with a $10 billion management for representation. WME, William Morris Endeavor, has found the right project which will be in the comedy genre. As per Deadline, “Kim Kardashian has teamed with longtime close friend La La Anthony. The BMF cast member will headline the comedy, created by black-ish creator Kenya Barris based on Anthony’s bestseller The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness.”

The memoir had intimate details about her marriage and past relationships to illustrate what she’s learned the hard way. Hulu will develop the new project titled Group Chat, and Barris will be a principal partner. La La Anthony and Kardashian will also serve the roles of executive producers.

After the success of her latest venture American Horror Story: Delicate, Kardashian can’t wait to put more stories out. Meanwhile, Anthony has been regularly starring in BMF and has a recurring role on Showtime’s The Chi. In May 2024, La La Anthony also starred in a mystery and thriller movie. The Bad Guardian also had Melissa Joan Hart in the film.

However, Group Chat, dubbed as Kardashian’s first look deal, the best friends couldn’t control their excitement.

Sharing the Deadline article on her Instagram with 14.9 million followers, she wrote “The secret is out!! 😱Super excited @kimkardashian and @kenyabarris it’s happening!!! Kim Kardashian reshared the same IG story by La La and wrote, “Even what was in our group chat today needs to be an episode😂.” The celebration continued with IG stories as well. The Keeping Up with the Kardashian star wrote, “Working with my bestie is GOALS!!! This show Group Chat is going to be spicey!!! #BasedOnATrueStoryAllegedly.”

Apart from acting, La La is also keen on other ventures. She boasts a partnership deal with the candy brand ‘Pause Now, Hustle Later.’ Just last year, she joined hands with Airbnb as their creative advisor. As per her new job, the actress will help arrange partnership deals with influencers, major events, and more.
