The untimely demise of the Los Angeles Lakers legend left the entire sports world devastated. He called himself, “Black Mamba” for the agility he retained as the term symbolized his “predator mentality“.

Stephen Jackson defends Kobe Bryant

With Big Three on board, former NBA players are busy on the court and constantly being interviewed by the press. In one such interview, a reporter popped up a question that left Stephen Jackson baffled.
A reporter asked Stephen “You think Kobe could handle the league?”. Stephen was taken aback by the reporter’s question he immediately stood on the podium and said this question was rhetorical.
To make matters interesting, he looked at the sky and asked, “Kobe [Bryant] listen, you listening? You want me to slap him for you?” He added, “We need you, man. Kobe is one of the greatest all-time scorers, without a doubt, we could say Kobe will rule any league he plays.”

For clarification, the original question revolved around the improving physical standards of the league, and whether Bryant could cope with it. But for a great to be questioned leaves a bad taste, and Jackson certainly made a show for it!

What is the Big 3 league?
Big 3 is a 12-team league with three players lined up and five-player roasters. It was founded in 2017 by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz. They announced their new 3-on-3 league in New York.
The roaster consists of all former NBA players as well as international players. The rules of the game slightly deviate from the mainstream leagues. Team Trilogy is the current championship holder of the league.
