Something hot just dropped on the streets, and Mama’s proud! Kiyan Anthony, only a senior in high school, is growing his six-figure worth clothing brand while he juggles basketball on the side. La La Anthony, ever the cheerleader of the 17-year-old, just couldn’t keep the new haul to herself. 

After teasing a new drop recently that caused a stir on social media, One Way Clothing has certainly delivered with the latest collection of thermals. Released on the 16th of January 2025 and titled, “Swag is My Serenity,” the drop features as seen yet, two colorways– grey and black, with the brand.

La La, who admittedly bonds with her son over fashion and receives news on the latest trends from him, couldn’t not get her hands on the collection. “Got my @onewayclothingny from @kiyananthony and @jaydndefense, Super [fire emojis],” she shared on her Instagram stories alongside a glimpse of the grey thermal.

Founded by Kiyan and his friend Jayden in 2023, offers a collection of streetwear such as T-shirts, hoodies, and joggers. Although the brand operates out of Harlem, it reaches its audience through online sales and pop-up shops in New York City.

Both La La and Carmelo Anthony are strong supporters of Kiyan’s entrepreneurial ventures with La La frequently promoting his releases on social media. Melo too, has expressed how proud he is that Kiyan got on with the business all on his own. “I’m proud of him that he took it upon himself to set a little business up for him and not wait for me or his mom to set it up,” the Knicks icon said. The 17-year-old might have started on the venture when he had nothing to do after shifting schools, but he certainly has ambitions for the brand and his basketball commitments do not seem to stop him.

Successfully balancing his endeavors on and off the court, Kiyan Anthony looks to further his brand One Way Clothing in all hemispheres. He has been vocal about his desire to open a physical storefront in New York City and work with artists such as Drake and Lil Baby to elevate the brand’s appeal and profile.

Further, in addition to his own clothing line, Kiyan has also signed NIL deal with PSD Underwear to release his own collection which includes apparel and accessories. Kiyan has expressed enthusiasm about this venture, stating, “It is more than just a partnership. It’s a collaboration that represents my style and my love for basketball. Together, we’re going to redefine what it means to be comfortable and confident both on and off the court.

Well, the 17-year-old is sure heating it up on the floor too. After putting up a 17-point performance against the Crusaders at HoopsHall Classic, Kiyan not only earned the MVP honors, but his performance that followed would also earn in a spot in the Classic’s top 25 players. Not long before he steps into Syracuse to make his mark; on or off the court.
