Kevin Hart's $450M fortune—proof that hard work and the right friends can change your life?

Shaquille O’Neal is a creative genius, and if you have any doubts, you can check his Instagram. From dubbing over movie dialogues to signing random songs in the middle of the night, Shaq will let his creative juices out at any point of the day. Not just that, O’Neal also helps others in their creative pursuits and the exhibit of this lies in his All-Star Comedy Jam, where he brought the freshest comedians to showcase their talent. One such comic who was part of the show was Kevin Hart and one of his mentees spoke about the life-changing event.

On his Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal has invited multiple comedians like Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, and Desi Banks. Banks, who recently appeared on the podcast, appreciated Shaq for the opportunity for this year’s comedy jam. He further stressed how such events have changed comedians’ lives and spoke about Kevin Hart. Initially, Hart was not supposed to be a part of the 2009 jam, but at the last minute, he was called in, as per Banks.

I’ve seen you change Kevin Hart life,Banks said, via The Big Podcast with Shaq. O’Neal and Hart have been friends ever since and have uploaded multiple videos of arguing, mimicking, etc. Well, it seems the friends aren’t talking anymore and Shaq made a complaint about it. “Say that again and this motherfu**** will not call me back, say it again.” Hart was the headliner act in 2009 and has never looked back ever since.

Kevin Hart has openly discussed his financial struggles early in his career. One time, he spoke to Grant Cardone and explained how he was in a double debt situation. Explaining that when he earned $250,000 at the age of 21, he ended up spending the majority of the money. He recalled at the time he had no financial knowledge and ended up in a debt trap and vowed to get out of that situation.

He said, “So the money that I was making as a standup, I still had to pay the taxes on that money. So I ended up being in double debt ’cause this money is being used to pay the government from what I owed them up here. And I’m not able to pay the taxes from that money from what I owed right here. So, holy sh*t, I’m three years behind.” Hart has now amassed a net worth of $450 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Moving on, after the release of the episode, Shaquille O’Neal on his Instagram uploaded a story of a post about the top 5 Kevin Hart moments. 5th one was when Hart hit O’Neal on his head and tried to run away. Another one of the funniest moments that people remember is when, on SNL, the whole Inside Crew was mimicked. No point in guessing who played the part of O’Neal.

Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith were played by Kenan Thompson, Alex Moffat, and Chris Redd respectively. Kevin Hart made sure that the statements made no sense. “Yeah, well, every dog has its day. But it’s nighttime, no time for dogs. Dogs go to sleep. So, it’s cat time. Cats come out at night. Freaks come out at night. Shaq a freak,” said Hart, mimicking Shaq.

Obviously, the real-life Barkley would call out Shaq, and so did the reel-life one. Hart was not ready to listen to a word of disrespect from reel Barkley. “Shut your mouth, Charles. Don’t make me come over there and do some Shaq-foo on your a**!” This skit happened close to 6 years ago and has over 4 million views.

From headlining the event to being responsible for bringing the show back to life, Kevin Hart has had a full-circle moment. In 2022, Shaquille O’Neal said he was working with the Laugh Out Loud team, whose founder is Hart.
