Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett is flaunting his new skills. The 15x All-Star is learning some new street fighting tactics. And what could be the best place to show his talent other than his podcast? Even better when the opponent is his best friend and former teammate, Paul Pierce. While it’s common for the multi-talented legend, his newly learned action move landed tough on The Truth.
The duo just dropped the latest episode of KG Certified. A snippet shared from one segment shows the hilarious exchange between the two. Pierce can be seen occupied on his phone when Garnett launches his surprise attack on him. “What’s happening, n**?” the Big Ticket says as he lightly taps Pierce. Flabbergasted, Pierce quickly stands up to fight back.
As the two exchange a few moves, Garnett says, “Right, I told you. You n****s run up on me, and show you some street fight I’ve been working on.” “See you can’t be afraid. I don’t care about getting hit. I go up in there. You gotta take some to get some,” Pierce says with a heavy breath.

The two have been best buddies for a long time, and perhaps it’s because they’ve known each other for so long that they always engage in the most hilarious banter and antics. Whenever Pierce boasts about something, KG is quick to humble him. In one episode of the podcast, The Truth boasted about following a good workout routine and even having abs. To which, Garnett quickly reminded him that he doesn’t exercise and probably has no abs. He even hilariously trolled his best friend for getting fired by ESPN.
Then again, in another episode, Pierce made a bold claim that he is a good fit for the Dallas Mavericks. Hoping to get paired with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, Pierce expressed his desire to make an NBA comeback with the Mavericks. “I fit on Dallas team right now. I can go out there and shoot threes and play. No defense.”

Much to his disappointment, Garnett quickly added, “You don’t fit on no Dallas team. No, you can’t! Stop…You can’t get 10 on the game right now. I’m here. I love you lord. You can’t!” Even if he wants to boast a little bit, the Boston Celtics legend can’t seem to do it in the presence of Garnett.
Along with the hilarious behind-the-scene antics, the duo will present their intriguing takes on the NBA playoffs on the show. Let’s hope this hilarious banter continues between the two.
