The Phoenix Suns had to rest both of their main guards, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, due to injury. Yet, that did not stop Kevin Durant from doing what he does best. With 39 points and 11 rebounds, Durant and the Suns were favorable for a win until the King stepped up late in the fourth quarter.
In the first three-quarters of the game, James did not play more than 6-7 minutes a quarter as the Lakers had reportedly put him under a 30-minute restriction for the season. That was the case during their loss to the Denver Nuggets as well, with James playing only 29 minutes. Anyhow, James wanted the win this game badly and he went on to play the entire 4th quarter on his way to 35 minutes.

Garnett found this impressive and termed the 4-time MVP as the?“best player” on the Lakers. And that is a reason why the team did not bother about any restrictions yesterday. Garnett shared,?“First get pulled that 29 minutes… and be the best player, I’m not shocked. You know why cuz that’s what he on, boy. Lord, he gonna step on the court and be less than what he know him to be”.
He further mentioned how he has played against the likes of Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, and more from the previous generation. The ‘Big Ticket’ also added James was “built from the traditional”?and he belongs to the?“old country”.?

The Big Ticket caught wind of Christian Wood’s comments about The King
Before the season, new Lakers recruit Wood shared an impressive story about James. Wood said, “I was trying to be one of the first ones in the gym. It’s about 7 AM, 7:20, and the first person I see is LeBron James already in full sweats.”
Quoting this, KG shared,?“You know you get older, you got to work even harder… He gets up and goes to the weight room. He gets it in after practice.” At 38 years of age, being the oldest player in the league, James continues to be the best player for the Lakers according to Garnett.
