Jamal Crawford is not letting go of the disrespect. After recently getting called out on social media, the 3-time Sixth Man of the Year winner is now stepping back on the court to fix a rapper’s delusion. It was surprising at first to hear it. But rapper Gillie Da Kid truly believes that he can defeat the former NBA pro in a 1-on-1 match in basketball.

Crawford did not let the disrespect slide. He quickly accepted the challenge, and now, after 10 days, Crawford is here to remind Gillie why he is one of the best scorers ever.

Gillie Da Kid called Crawford out during a podcast. He claimed that Crawford would want no part of a 1v1, as he would ‘cook’ Crawford on the court. He called the shooting guard a liability on defense and said that he had never faced anyone like Gillie.

Crawford was quick to shut Gillie’s mouth. He accepted the challenge. It’s been 10 days since then, and things seem to have calmed down a bit. But Crawford has not forgotten about it.

As it was Thanksgiving day and no games were played, Crawford decided to head to the gym and play with some local hoopers. After that, he posted a video of him playing basketball while also warning Gillie in the process.

Crawford wrote, “Giving thanks, but giving out blessings. You’re next in the pot @gilliedakid.

After everything that we have seen from Jamal Crawford, things won’t end well for the rapper. He is known for his scoring prowess, and there is no world where Gillie has a real chance of winning against him.

Crawford is unstoppable on offense

During most of his career, Crawford came off the bench. This is not because he was not good enough to be a starter, but because he was able to just go in the game any time and lift the team up with his scoring. This is also the reason why he has won the sixth-man award three times in his career.

Scoring the ball is what he was known for. Although it’s been three years since he retired, no one has forgotten the last time he played in the NBA. At the age of 39, Jamal Crawford went on to drop 51 points in a game for the Phoenix Suns.

If there is ever any hope for Gillie to turn back, it is now. Crawford is not planning on going easy on him. If this does end up on the court, it will not end well for the rapper.
