A few hours ago, Kevin Garnett?s show ?KG Certified? uploaded a discussion that took place between him and 2008 NBA champion Paul Pierce. Touching base upon various topics and issues, the main point of conversation soon shifted towards players who the duo wish should ?come out and have some really captivating years?.
Pierce brought up the name of Zion Williamson. He stated out Zion is someone who shows up when ?out there? but he also needs to be ?available?.
?When he was healthy, New Orleans was rolling,? said Pierce during the discussion. “So if he can stay healthy, I don?t know what?s going to happen.”
While Pierce emphasized that Zion needs to focus on his physicality, Garnett said that the 23-year-old needs to focus on ?what?s between his ears?.
?You go out and do a 360 between the legs and then go walk back into the locker room, that blew everybody,? said Garnett, recounting an incident that occurred with Zion. After the player came out of the locker room, Garnett observed that he didn?t feel it was the same Zion that walked out. ?That was more mental to me, or at least the mental flags went up,? Garnett added.
Kevin Garnett?s harsh words came only a few months after he provided his support to the New Orleans Pelicans star.
Garnett once emphasized the need to have “this Zion”
Due to his unusual build, Zion Williamson has been prone to injuries for quite some time now. Add that to his feud with adult actress Moriah Mills, Zion was facing a whole lot of troubles recently.
In the midst of all this, ?The Big Ticket? took to Instagram to share a reel with his 1 Million followers. It featured the 23-year-old in action, highlighting some of his best moments during NBA games.
