And, for the latest drop in the Kobe Bryant re-launch, they are going a step beyond. By now, the That’s Mamba campaign is a steady part of the vernacular. It has become a heartfelt tribute to Kobe, his teachings, and the Mamba Mentality. However, the latest addition to the campaign might be one of its deepest, and best. As a result, it brought out a simple, yet effective, response to Isaiah Thomas.
The message from the industry leader was simple. At face value, at least. As the video was once again enacted by kids, one player would charge through a screen to continue defending his assignment, the message was clear. “You can fight through anything. Especially screens.”

Of course, the deeper meaning isn’t lost on anyone. However, that same core teaching is a part of what made Bryant one of the greatest players in league history. For Boston Celtics legend Thomas, however, that impact puts him right at the top.
