Did you know Jamal Crawford has another interesting nickname? And no, not J Crossover. It comes from the man who is the reason he wore jersey no. 1! Yes, Penny Hardaway just disclosed it. Interestingly, it is also what the NFL fellows call Randy Moss. An NFL and NBA crossover! Can you guess it?

It’s no secret that Jamal and Penny share a mutual admiration for each other. Jamal holds the former star point guard in high regard. Penny has openly expressed that he is a fan of Jamal. While sitting down with Jamal Crawford, Penny recalled how they used to talk about Randy Moss. That’s right, the NFL Hall of Famer! He was infamous for being mischievous outside the field. That’s ‘Randy Moss’. But once he is in his niche, he’s a totally different person. Superior athletic abilities? Check. Effortless yet stunning catches? Absolutely. Now, he is ‘Dandy Moss’. The Vikings’ legendary wide receiver.

Paying homage to the OG, Penny refers to Jamal as ‘Dandy’. He says, “The 6 for 26 was Jamal Crawford, the game-winner is Dandy.” And it’s an exchange nickname. Why? Because they use it for each other. He explains that they become ‘Dandy’ only when they do something good. In other words, when they play brilliantly. But hold on! What he said next will catch you off guard. “We do something bad we’d be like we’re just regular dudes.” Penny talks about him and Jamal. Yep, not two ‘legends’, it seems.
