According to the post, “Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have finalized their divorce settlement, with Teyana receiving four homes worth more than $10 million, a single seven-figure payment, and several luxury cars such as a $300k Maybach, a $70k Mercedes Sprinter, and a tour bus. She maintains complete ownership of her companies.” 

That’s a lot to unpack, but there’s more. The post also revealed that Iman Shumpert has been ordered to pay $8,000 a month in child support for their daughters, Junie and Rue Rose. He’s also covering the full cost of their private school tuition.

It’s a pretty rough time for Iman Shumpert amidst all the divorce proceedings.

Now, here’s where things get even more interesting.

Just last June, Shumpert had requested an adjustment in his child support payments. He claimed Taylor was making nearly twice as much as him. According to his filings, he was pulling in around $48,000 monthly. On the contrary, Taylor made $94,000 per month. It’s something to look at, considering the extravagant divorce settlement. But clearly, not much attention was paid to Shumpert’s request.

For those unaware, the two loves met a party in 2022. Yet, it wasn’t romantic from the get-go because Taylor was dating someone else. They stayed as friends. But by 2013, their love for each other blossomed.

Iman Shumpert made his move in 2015, proposing memorably—right in the middle of their baby shower at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio. A year later, they made it official and tied the knot.
