The absentees list for the Chicago Bulls ‘Ring of Honor’ will also have 2-time DPOY Dennis Rodman‘s name in it. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen informed the Bulls that they would not be joining this huge event. Rodman was the last hope for the fans, but unexpected conditions have stopped him from entering the city of Chicago. The 5x NBA champion shared a video through the Bulls, where he got emotional while revealing the devastating news.
Rodman shared in a fragile voice, “Hey Chicago, Dennis Rodman here. This is a sad day and a good day. I tried to come in, I wanted to really bad, but I guess the weather has prevented me from coming to Chicago. I can’t even talk, I’m getting emotional again, cause you know me, you guys know me…If I was Superman I’d be there in about 10 minutes…But thank you guys for even having me on your mind.”

Rodman had prepared for the big night like a wholesome child. He revealed, “I actually did something really positive yesterday. I reached out to my brothers of the Chicago Bulls and I spoke to ninety percent of them, but it was great to see those guys man. And that’s what hurts me the most, not to be with those guys today.” Rodman did not forget to give a special shout to someone he loved the most back at the Bulls.
Rodman shared, “Phil Jackson, I love you so much man,” as he continued to show gratitude to the other. The 62-year-old revealed, “Some of those years man, it was rough but thank you guys”. Oh, and Rodman also said, “To Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, all the guys, I love all of them, I love everybody”. It was devastating to see Rodman stuck in such a situation. It was obvious that he was aching to return to his den, so that he can meet his family.
