In a recent podcast interview of ?Knuckleheads Podcast?, Indiana Pacers player Myles Turner (who is from Dallas) talks about his role model being Dirk Nowitzki and how he wanted ?to be like Dirk?.?

Turner mentions in the podcast, ?I was a big, I?ve always been able to shoot so it?s kinda what I aspired to be like.?

He then talks about how his father encouraged/advised him to play like Boston Celtics legend, Kevin Garnett, because they had similar builds. The Indian Pacers Center/Guard mentions, ?I started looking really into Kevin Garnett?and his intensity, the way he plays and carries himself?and it?s like ?Alright dad, I get it?.?

Myles Turner then states that he was glad to have watched him (Garnett) and stated, ?That really did it for me?. He then talks about his first time meeting Kevin Garnett personally.

In the podcast episode, Myles Turner shares details from when he was invited to Kevin Garnett?s home for the first time. Turner says, ?It was intense.? In his most recent NBA win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he notched his first double-double of the year with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
